A website converted to PDF files for sustainability. The List of Hayden Arizona Pioneer Biographies includes links to digitized typescripts of biographical statements about Arizona "pioneers" written by Senator Carl T. Hayden. Subjects of the research were heads of household appearing in the 1860, 1863 and 1870 US Census surveys for Arizona. While Hayden completed biographies for over 800 individuals, he compiled research data for over 1,700 individuals. The complete research files are available in hardcopy at the Arizona Collection.
