This photograph shows the front of the Parliament, before the assembly meeting, where a French dignitary is arriving for the signing of an agreement. The usual sequence of events for such a procedure begins with Cambodian officials, including Sihanouk, waiting on the steps of the National Assembly, then the arrival and greeting of the guests, and finally the formal signing ceremony.
