This building was designed by T. J. Weatherford of the Phoenix architectural firm Lescher & Mahoney and constructed in 1928. It was owned by the Knights of Pythias Phoenix Lodge #2, which had meeting rooms on the second floor and rented the first to various tenants. At the time this photograph was taken, Floyd Ikard Household Appliances was located on the first floor.
