Description Letter from W. W. Bass to Carl Hayden urging him to visit the Grand Canyon in order to see what effect the National Park bill would have on the farmers and miners of the Grand Canyon. Bass urges Hayden to "correct a threatening evil" and the monopoly such a proposal would give to the Santa Fe Railway line, includes newspaper clipping.
